FogScreen, Inc. Sees Clear Path to Global Success

From the R&D labs to the hottest night clubs in the world – in less than four years.

What does a company do when its headquarters are in Helsinki, Finland, but its buying audience is thousands of miles away in three main markets and many different countries around the world? The answer is to tap FinNode for help.

FogScreen, Inc. is a 4-year-old company that manufactures massive floating projection screens made simply of fog. These walk-through FogScreen™ projection screens are used as promotional attractions at some of the world’s hottest dance clubs and bars, at corporate trade show booths and commercial events, at shopping malls and science museums, and at major theme park rides in the US and Europe. In addition to displaying both static images and motion video loops, FogScreen projection screens can also be used as interactive digital displays similar to touch-screen monitors.

Global growth is in the company focus. FogScreen was admitted into the BornGlobal internationalization project, funded by Tekes and coordinated by Technopolis Ventures in Finland, in late 2006. Through the project, FogScreen met with FinNode and received consultation on their go-to-market strategy. FinNode then helped arrange for business development meetings in the US.
